GRAINS

Throughout the years, Crestview Organic Farms has grown a variety of healthy crops including flax, spelt, khorasan wheat, oats, rye, canary seed, peas, lentils, chickling vetch and fenugreek.  Each year, farmers Dwayne and Therin Woolhouse, decide on the crops to seed for the upcoming season based on interest and demand.

FLOUR, BREAD & PASTA

Therin and his wife Iris have also expanded the family business and created, Homesteaders Old Fashion Grains, a company that sells homemade breads, pasta, and flour. These products are made with 100% certified organic ingredients and grains from Crestview Organic Farms including spelt, khorasan, and lentils.

BISON

The family also raises a herd of around 60 bison on 700 acres of land. The bison are left to roam naturally as they would have historically.  Therin, who is a trained meat cutter, is responsible for butchering these bison. The meat is used by the family and sold to the local community.
